Episode 34: Caviar?

Ever since the beginning of my recent addiction to ice fishing, I've been faced regularly with copious amounts of fish roe. It occurred to me that I have had golden caviar [whitefish roe] that was produced commercially, and since then I have been highly motivated to experiment with curing caviar myself. Why not?
